Shopping Malls in Marmaris: Blue Port, Netsel Marina and Where Else to Shop
Marmaris has two main shopping centres, Blue Port and Netsel Marina. What's inside, where else to shop, watch, jewellery and leather stores, and buying tips.
Marmaris is not a big-mall town. Most of its shopping happens in the Grand Bazaar, along the seafront and in small shops around the centre. There are two modern shopping centres, though: Blue Port, a compact mall one street back from the beach, and Netsel Marina, a shopping and dining complex around the yacht harbour. Between them and a handful of specialist shops, you can find everything from brand clothing and a supermarket to watches, jewellery, leather and swimwear.
This guide covers what each shopping centre offers, where else to shop, the specialist stores you can visit with free hotel pickup, and tips for buying watches, gold and leather on holiday.

Shopping Malls in Marmaris
Blue Port Shopping Centre
Blue Port (Blue Port AVM) is the nearest thing Marmaris has to a conventional mall. It sits on the main road between Siteler and the town centre, about a block from the beach, and was rebuilt from the older Point Centre. Local guides describe around 40 to 50 brands inside, including a Migros supermarket, high-street fashion and electronics stores, fast-food outlets, a food court, a cinema, a children's play area and a rooftop café with views over the bay. There is underground parking, and the fountain outside is lit up in the evenings.
It is a small mall by city standards, but useful for stocking up on groceries and sun cream, a rainy-day film or a break from the heat. Prices are fixed and cards are widely accepted.
Netsel Marina
Netsel Marina is the town's yacht harbour, a few minutes' walk from the centre and next to Bar Street. Around the marina is an open-air shopping and dining area with about 40 brand stores, boutiques, watch and jewellery shops, and a row of restaurants, bars and cafés facing the boats. It is more upmarket than the bazaar, with prices to match, and it is at its best in the evening, when the marina lights come on.
Beyond the Malls: Bazaar and Markets
For souvenirs, textiles, spices and a bit of bargaining, head to the Grand Bazaar in the old town, below the castle. Marmaris also has weekly open-air markets in different neighbourhoods, which are the place for fresh produce and inexpensive clothing. Our Marmaris bazaar guide covers the bazaar, the market days and how to bargain. If you would rather go with someone who knows the shops, the bazaar shopping experience with a local includes hotel pickup.

Tips for Shopping in Marmaris
Know where to bargain. Haggling is normal in the bazaar and at many independent souvenir stalls. In malls, brand stores and supermarkets, prices are fixed.
Buy branded watches from authorised dealers. Ask for the manufacturer's warranty card and a receipt. Counterfeit goods can be confiscated by customs when you return home.
Get details on the receipt for gold and diamonds. Ask for the carat, the weight and, for diamonds, a certificate, and keep the paperwork.
Check leather carefully. Look at the stitching, lining and zips before you buy.
Ask about tax-free shopping. Visitors who live outside Turkey can often reclaim VAT on larger purchases in shops showing a Tax Free sign. Ask for the tax-free form in the shop and have it stamped by customs at the airport before you check in your luggage.
Keep your receipts for anything valuable, for customs and for any guarantee.
Take your time. A free hotel pickup is a convenience, not an obligation to buy. Compare prices before you spend a lot.
