- Plan Your Evening
If you are staying in Side or Manavgat, the Land of Legends night show is one of the easiest evenings out to plan. The complex is in Belek, west of Side along the coast road, and the evening programme on its Shopping Avenue is free: fountain shows, light and projection effects and, on parade nights, the Musical Boat Parade along the canal.
This guide covers the practical side of going from Side: how far it is, how the evening transfers work, what time you get back, what is free and what costs extra, and a few tips for families. For a full description of the shows themselves, see our Land of Legends night show guide.

What Is the Night Show?
The "night show" is not a single ticketed performance. It is the evening programme staged around Shopping Avenue, the open-air street of shops, cafés and restaurants built along a canal at the edge of the complex. A typical evening includes:
Fountain shows: short, repeated displays of water jets set to music and coloured light
Light and projection effects on the castle-style building at the end of the canal
The Musical Boat Parade: illuminated boats and costumed performers moving along the canal to music
The parade does not run every night. Show days change with the season, and one of the Side programmes notes that the parade is not staged on Wednesdays. Wind or rain can also shorten or cancel outdoor shows. If the parade is the main reason you are going, check the official events calendar for your date before you book. Our night show guide describes each show and typical timings.
How to Get to Land of Legends from Side
Evening Transfer with Hotel Pickup
This is how most people staying in Side go. You are collected from your hotel, driven to Belek, given free time at Shopping Avenue and driven back after the shows. The part it solves is the return: the parade finishes late and the crowd leaves at the same time.
Taxi
A taxi gives you flexibility on the way there, but finding one for the return at the end of the evening can be slow. If you go this way, agree the return with your driver in advance.
Driving Yourself
With a hire car, follow the coast road west towards Antalya and turn off for Belek and Kadriye. Allow extra time on summer evenings, and remember you will be driving back late.

A Typical Evening from Side
Around 20:00: hotel pickup (earlier or later depending on where your hotel is)
45–60 minutes: drive west along the coast to Belek
On arrival: walk to the show area. Vehicles stop outside the grounds, and one programme mentions a walk of about 650 m. The route is paved and manageable with a pushchair.
Free time: walk the avenue, have dinner and catch a fountain show
Main shows: the boat parade on parade nights, then the light finale
Late evening: back to the meeting point and the drive back to Side
The order and times vary with the season and the venue's programme.
What Is Free and What Costs Extra
Free: entry to Shopping Avenue and watching the evening shows, including the boat parade
Extra: dinner and drinks, shopping, the optional boat ride on the canal, and the theme park and water park
The night trips from Side do not include the theme park. If you want the rides and slides as well, read our Land of Legends theme park guide before deciding how to plan your day.
Is It Good for Families?
Yes, it is mainly a family evening. The characters, lights and boats are aimed at children, and the paved avenue works with a pushchair. A few things to plan for:
It ends late. Expect to be back at your hotel close to midnight.
It gets crowded along the canal before the parade. Agree a meeting point and keep children close.
Eat there. Dinner is not included, and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants on the avenue.
Couples and groups of friends also go, but expect a busy, family-oriented crowd rather than nightlife.
Tips for the Evening
Check parade nights on the official calendar before you book.
Be ready at pickup time. Shared transfers collect from several hotels on a set route.
Note the meeting point and time when you arrive, and take a photo of the vehicle and its plate.
Find a spot at the canal early for the parade, especially in summer.
Bring a light jacket: evenings by the water can feel cool even after a hot day.
Wear comfortable shoes: there is a lot of walking on hard surfaces.
Bring a card or cash for dinner and shopping.
Plan the Rest of Your Stay in Side
The night show fits well after a day at the beach or a day trip. Popular daytime plans from Side include a Suluada boat trip, a boat tour on the Manavgat River and the Manavgat market on market days. Closer to your hotel, the ancient city of Side and the Temple of Apollo are best at sunset. For more ideas, see our guide to the best places to visit in Side.
