Incredible island day. Stopped at like five different spots, each one more beautiful than the last. The crew served tea and fruit on deck between swims, boat was really well-maintained with proper showers, and the hot lunch kept you going through the afternoon.

About this activity
Suluada Boat Trip from Alanya Along the Wild Lycian Shore
Nicknamed the Turkish Maldives for its white sand and glassy shallows, Suluada lies off the coast of Adrasan in the Kumluca district. No boats sail there directly from Alanya, so this Suluada boat trip from Alanya combines a comfortable road transfer with an unhurried day at sea, stopping at the island itself and at the sheltered bays that surround it.
Heading West Before the Sun Climbs
Your day starts in the early hours with a pickup from your accommodation in the Alanya area. The drive to Adrasan takes roughly three and a half hours, and the activity itself begins at the harbour at 09:30, when the crew welcomes you aboard and the boat pulls away from the shore.
Where the Sea Turns Pale Blue
Around 45 minutes of cruising past forested cliffs brings you to the front beach of Suluada. The island owes its name to the freshwater springs that rise along its shore, and the white sand beneath the shallows gives the water its famous colour. This first stop is a generous one, with time to swim, float and take photos on the beach.
A Hot Meal with the Anchor Down
While the boat rests in calm water, the crew serves lunch on deck, typically fish or chicken with pasta and fresh salad. Drinks are not part of the package, but the onboard bar sells soft and alcoholic options throughout the day.
Exploring the Island's Quieter Corners
After lunch the boat slips round to the western beach of Suluada for another swim, then moves on to the stretch of shore where spring water flows into the sea. You can feel the cool fresh current meeting the warm Mediterranean, and the seabed is clearly visible, so a mask is worth packing.
Paradise Bay and a Rock with a Famous Face
Two more swimming breaks await on the way back. Cennet Koyu, known as Paradise Bay, is framed by pine-covered slopes, while Hacivat Koyu is named after a rock formation said to resemble Hacivat, a beloved character of traditional Turkish shadow theatre. Tea and seasonal fruit are brought round as the afternoon unfolds.
Salt on Your Skin and the Road Home
The boat reaches Adrasan harbour around 15:30, which marks the end of the activity. The road transfer back to Alanya follows, and you arrive at your hotel in the evening, with the exact time depending on traffic and where you are staying.
Worth Knowing Before You Reserve
This is a long day on the road, rewarded by some of the clearest water on the Turkish coast, so it suits travellers who love swimming and scenery above all. The boat has a toilet, showers and changing rooms, and life jackets are available for every guest. The captain may change the order of the stops depending on wind and sea conditions.

Suluada was dreamlike but the trade-off is you spend half your day in a car just to get there. Once you're on the water though you forget about the drive completely. Multiple swimming spots, friendly crew, decent meal on deck. Would do it again.

Nice day island hopping but honestly CROWDED on the boat and we moved fast from spot to spot—felt like we barely got settled before loading back up. The water was stunning though and lunch was hot which helped.
