This is the flight for travellers who want their holiday to include one proper jolt of adrenaline. You leave your resort in Side, reach a mountain launch in Alanya, run off the edge with a licensed tandem pilot and ride the wind down to Cleopatra Beach. Transfers and the flight are included, so all you need to bring is nerve.

From Resort Lobby to Launch Cliff

A round-trip hotel transfer collects you in Side or the Manavgat area. Pickup happens before the activity start time shown at booking, and your exact pickup time is confirmed after your reservation. The drive follows the coast east to the flying base in Alanya, where the crew is waiting.

Clipped In and Briefed

Your pilot explains how the running launch works, what to do with your legs and how the landing will feel. You are fitted with a harness and helmet and then connected to your pilot. No previous experience is required because the pilot controls the canopy from start to finish.

Three Strides Then Pure Air

A mountain drive takes you to the launch point high above Cleopatra Bay. On the signal you run together toward the edge until the canopy grabs the wind and the ground simply disappears. For around 20 minutes you hang above the turquoise water with Alanya Castle, the harbour and the Taurus Mountains spread out below. Airtime depends on the wind and weather on the day.

Boots on Golden Sand

The flight ends with a landing on Cleopatra Beach itself, one of the best-known stretches of sand on the Turkish Riviera. Back at the base you can preview the photos and videos your pilot recorded and buy them separately if you wish. The mountain take-off entry fee is already included in the price.

Rules of the Sky

The minimum age is 6. The flight is not suitable during pregnancy or for travellers with mobility impairments. Wear sports shoes and comfortable clothing. Flights only operate in safe weather and may be rescheduled if the wind does not cooperate.

The Ride Home With Your Pulse Still Racing

When the activity ends, the return transfer takes you back to the Side area. Drop-off happens after the activity end time and depends on traffic and your hotel location.
