This full day begins in the Side region and follows the coast east to the dive grounds off Alanya, where warm water and long visibility make the seabed easy to read even on a first descent. From Side to the Alanya Dive Coast

A driver collects you from your accommodation in Side or one of the neighbouring resorts and takes the coastal road east. The Taurus foothills rise on one side and the Mediterranean opens on the other. Round-trip transport is paid for inside your ticket and there is nothing to settle at the harbour.

Boarding and the Safety Briefing

At the harbour you step aboard a purpose-built dive boat and meet the crew. Instructors hand out wetsuits masks fins and tanks in your size and walk through breathing technique hand signals and what happens if you want to surface early. Nobody enters the water until the whole group has been through it.

Your First Dive in the Mediterranean

The first descent is a shallow one over reef and sand with an instructor at arm's length. Bream wrasse and small shoals move through the rocks and the light stays bright at this depth. Experienced divers who bring a certification card can go deeper with the dive master instead.

Lunch Served on Board

Once everyone is back on deck the crew serves a hot lunch on board while the boat sits at anchor. The meal is part of your ticket rather than an upsell handed to you at the table. It is also the surface interval that has to pass before the second tank goes on.

The Second Dive and Time in the Water

The boat repositions to a second site where the profile runs a little deeper along rock walls and gullies. After that the ladder stays down for as long as the schedule allows, so you can snorkel swim or simply dry off in the sun while the crew stows the gear.
