Some of the finest paragliding air on the Turkish Riviera sits above Alanya, and this trip brings it within reach even if you are staying in Antalya or Belek. You travel east by road, ride up to a launch point high in the hills and then drift over the town with a professional pilot until your feet meet the sand of Cleopatra Beach.

Where the Coast Road Bends Eastward

Transfers collect guests from hotels in Antalya city centre, Konyaaltı, Lara, Kundu and Belek. The road then follows the shoreline eastward, and the journey to Alanya takes around two hours depending on traffic and where your hotel is located.

Harnessed on a Hilltop 700 Metres Up

A vehicle carries you up to the take-off area, which sits roughly 700 metres above the sea. Here the crew fits your harness, checks every buckle and explains the few running steps you will take at launch. No earlier experience is needed, because your pilot steers from start to finish.

A Seljuk Fortress Beneath Your Boots

Once the canopy fills, the ground falls away within seconds. Airtime usually runs between 15 and 25 minutes, shaped by wind and thermals, and the view takes in the Seljuk walls of Alanya Castle, the Taurus Mountains and the turquoise bay below. Phones and cameras stay on the ground for safety, so any footage comes from the crew's camera and can be bought afterwards.

Cleopatra's Sands Rise to Meet You

The descent ends on Cleopatra Beach, where a ground team helps you out of the harness. There is a short pause here to take in the moment and look through your flight photos and videos, which are offered as an optional purchase.

Winding West with a Head Full of Sky

Once everyone in the group has landed, the vehicle heads back west toward Antalya. The listed end time marks the close of the activity, and hotel drop-offs follow in turn, so your arrival time depends on traffic and your hotel's location.

Small Print for a Big Day

Two sessions are available, starting at 09:00 and 13:00. These are activity start times rather than pickup times: you are collected earlier, and your exact pickup time is shared after your booking is confirmed. The minimum age is 6, and the pilot gives final approval based on body weight and wind. If the weather turns unsafe, the flight is moved to another day or refunded.
