Alanya Unfolds Below the Kargıcak Heights

Shortly after leaving the meeting point, the convoy pulls over high above Kargıcak. While your guide gives a quick introduction to the day ahead, the Mediterranean shoreline and the rooftops of Alanya spread out beneath you, handing you the first memorable photo of the tour.

Splash Battles on a Bumpy Trail

Next, the playful part begins. The jeeps turn off the asphalt onto a rugged dirt track, and crews in neighbouring vehicles trade friendly soakings with water guns as the wheels bounce over the terrain. Expect to reach the next stop cooler, laughing and very likely dripping.

Stepping onto Two Thousand Years of Stone

A Roman bridge that has stood over the river for around 2,000 years is your next halt. Stroll across its weathered stones, float in the refreshing water or, if your guide confirms the river is deep enough, join the braver guests who jump from the bridge. Local gözleme, a thin folded flatbread with savoury fillings cooked on a griddle, is on hand for anyone who fancies a mid-morning bite in the shade.

Into the Cool Chambers of Dwarf Cave

A short ride later, you reach Dwarf Cave, known to locals as Cüceler Mağarası. Stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years decorate its chambers, and the naturally cool air feels wonderful after the midday sun. Please note that the cave entrance fee is not covered by the tour price.

Boardwalks Above the Rushing Sapadere

The road then twists higher to Sapadere Canyon, the crown of the day. Wooden walkways follow the gorge upstream past icy waterfalls and crystal-clear pools. With about an hour and a half here, you can wander at your own pace, cool your feet in the chilly stream and collect some of the best photos of your holiday.

An Unhurried Lunch in the Open Air

With the canyon explored, lunch is served in a green natural setting where the air is fresh and the pace slows down. It is the perfect moment to refuel, share stories from the trail and soak up the mountain calm before the programme wraps up.

Timings and Your Journey Back

The activity runs from 10:00 until about 15:00, and all stop times are approximate because traffic and conditions on the day can shift them slightly. Hotel pickup happens before 10:00, and your exact pickup time is shared with you once your booking is confirmed. When the programme ends, the drive back to your hotel generally takes one to two hours depending on traffic and your hotel location.

Packing for a Wet and Wonderful Day

Comfortable walking shoes with good grip make the canyon boardwalks and cave paths easier. Bring a swimsuit and a towel for the river and waterfall stops, sunscreen for the open-top ride and a change of dry clothes for after the water fights.
